Today, opening dozens of tabs in the browser is almost the norm for many people: from rewriters to SMM service employees. It goes without saying that this requires a powerful computer, but the problem is different. In the Chrome browser, at some point, there are so many tabs that they do not differ from each other – after all, even the site icons are not visible. And so Google decided to copy what Firefox has long been around. We are talking about the function of scrolling tabs.
Mountain View has already confirmed that the company plans to add a similar solution, which will not compress tabs, adjusting to the width of the screen. Open sites can be scrolled using the arrows, as well as the mouse wheel. At the same time, according to Peter Casting, one of the developers of the Google Chrome user interface, the system will support the selection of multiple tabs using Shift + click and Ctrl + click.
This function has been requested by users for a long time, and now it will appear. At the same time, it has not yet been announced when exactly the new feature will be added. Perhaps it will be implemented already in Chrome 71, which will be released in December, although it is still unknown for sure.
