The powerful Chief of Staff to President Muhammadu Buhari, Mallam Abba Kyari has died. The sad event occurred on Friday April 17 at a Lagos private hospital after testing positive to the novel corona virus on March 23.
The death was announced by Femi Adesina, in a Tweet on Saturday:
“Chief of Staff to the President, Mallam Abba Kyari, passes on. May God rest his soul. Amen. Funeral arrangements to be announced soon,” Mr Adesina wrote.
